The manuscript fragment is well preserved; both the text and the musical notation are clearly legible. The entire width of the wrting area has been preserved.

Northern textualis, one hand.

 Flourished and highlighted cadel D (black, red) and blue lombard (2 lines). The notation displays the typical features of Hungarian notation, and is written on a four-line red staff. C and F clefs are used on the fourth and second lines, respectively. Since the ends of the staves are not clearly visible, the presence of custos signs cannot be determined. Annotations: The front pastedown bears several Latin devotional and moral annotations, including "Memento mori" and "Memorare novissima" . A further, partially legible inscription appears below.  Hungarian origin suggested by the musical notation. Former owners: "Dal<noki> Lau<rentius> (title page of host volume). Dálnoki Nagy Lőrinc, also known as Laurentius Dalnoki, was a seventeenth-century teacher and philosopher who lived in Cluj between 1614 and 1661.  The book subsequently entered the library of the Unitarian college in Cluj: "Eccl.
