One hand, Northern Textualis.
Highlighted and flourished cadel L (2 lines) and one blue lombard on the verso (2 lines). Mixed Messine–Gothic Hungarian notation. A four-line staff is visible, on which both the C and F clefs appear simultaneously on the fourth and second lines. The end-of-line custos symbol is also present. Musical language: deuterus authenticus (modus 2).The characteristic features of Hungarian notation (ex. S-shaped pes/scandicus) prove that the manuscript fragment was copied on the territory of medieval Hungary. The fact fact that the host volume belonged to the famous typographer of Cluj, Caspar Helth (Heltai Gáspar) further suggests that the wrapper may come from a medieval manuscript from Cluj. The host volume, consisting of colligata printed in Zurich and Tübingen in 1566, belonged to Caspar Helth (1510-1574), the first printer of Cluj: "Ex libris Casparis Helthi Typographi Coloswariensis" (title page). It then passed to a certain János Brassai: "Johannis Brassai Jadicum ex dono Helthi" (s. XVI, title page). In 1682 the volume already belonged to the Reformed college of Cluj: "Liber Collegii Claudiopolitani 1682" (title page).
